In Chiang Mai Valley, street dogs are frequently subject to mass poisonings, abuse, and traded as meat, and The Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai needs our help fostering and adopting dogs from their park in order to keep rescuing more dogs from this fate. ENP is world-renowned elephant sanctuary and they expanded their rescue efforts to include dogs after the catastrophic Bangkok floods in 2011, and they took in over 250 street dogs that would have otherwise perished. ENP has since become the only option for sick, starving and maimed dogs in the Chiang Mai Valley. They're now home to over 400 dogs and they're busting at the seams!
Underdogs Animal Rescue is partnering with an international group of rescuers to help foster and adopt 37 dogs from the dog sanctuary at Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This huge undertaking requires many volunteers and donations! A group of our volunteers are traveling to ENP at the end of October to fly back these 37 very deserving dogs, who otherwise would not have had a chance, to start their new lives in Colorado.
